DE TURF ANNOUNCES NEW SPONSORSHIPS WITH DEL-ONE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, IG BURTON

FREDERICA, Del. – DE TURF will have a busy Monday, July 16th at the complex.  The complex will announce Del-One Federal Credit Union as its new sponsor. Del-One will sponsor a brand new pavilion on the campus. This is the first pavilion that the complex will have on site. A check giving ceremony is scheduled for 5:45pm on Monday, July 16th.

“On behalf of the Board, staff and membership of Del-One Federal Credit Union, it’s an honor to sponsor the Del-One Pavilion at the DE TURF. Del-One values community, corporate citizenship and bringing people together. The DE TURF is the embodiment of those values. We look forward to the continued growth of the Turf as it represents fellowship, sportsmanship, and competition while contributing to the local and state economy,” said Dion Williams, President / CEO Del-One Federal Credit Union.

“We simply could not be more excited for the Del-One Pavilion at DE TURF,” said executive director, Chris Giacomucci. “We have recognized based on feedback from our visiting families and teams a need for more shaded structures to accommodate the masses and the Del-One Pavilion goes a long way towards providing the best experience we can for our patrons which is what we strive for.” Del-One Federal Credit Union will also provide an ATM on site at the complex as well.

i.g. Burton will also be the sponsor of Field 12, now known as “i.g. Burton Field”. As part of the sponsorship, i.g Burton will provide a truck for the maintenance staff to utilize on site for event set up, break down and daily facility use. DE TURF will also provide “i.g. Burton Days” which will consist of free open play to the general public for youth to use on select dates. Dates and times will be finalized and posted on website and social media. “The DE Turf Sports Complex is creating a lot of opportunities for kids and families,” said Charlie Burton. “Their complex is the largest of its kind in the region and is playing a big economic role in our backyard.  It’s a great thing.  I’m glad to have i.g. Burton, & Company playing a part in supporting their efforts.”
