Another Full Weekend of Events Scheduled at DE Turf Sports Complex

Frederica, Del. (June 15, 2017) – The last two months have been busy for DE Turf Sports Complex, the newly launched sports complex in Frederica. This weekend continues with more hundreds of athletes, coaches, and families arriving from across the Mid-Atlantic.

The Battle of Baltimore Boys Lacrosse Showcase begins on Friday. Their tournament is on Saturday and Sunday. Teams include the Connecticut Chargers Blue, Dukes Elite I, Dukes Elite II, Dukes Mainline, Dukes Young Guns, Dukes VA, Florida Surge, Patriot, Rockfish, Silverbacks (a Delaware-based team), Team Long Island, Team Turnpike, Tri-State, Twist Black, and Twist Gold.

USA Field Hockey, a part of Team USA, will bring their U16 Regionals to DE Turf this weekend. Dozens of players, coaches, and families are expected from the Mid-Atlantic region.
