DE Turf hosts full roster of national lacrosse teams, tournaments, and college recruiting coaches this weekend

Upcoming tournaments at new sports complex draws 70 teams from across the country, more than 1,500 athletes, and more than 100 college recruiting coaches

Frederica, Del. (June 8, 2017) – The last two months have been busy for DE Turf Sports Complex, the newly launched sports complex in Frederica. This weekend continues with more than 3,000 athletes, coaches, and families arriving from across the U.S.

Open to the top 1% of players nationally, Adrenaline Lacrosses’s Black Card Cup, held by Adrenaline Lacrosse, headquartered in San Diego, will be held Friday, June 9th. The Black Card Cup is an individual showcase with 300 athletes from across the country expected. This unique at-cost, charity recruiting event will be attended by every top NCAA program. Black Card, run in conjunction with the Adrln Platinum Cup (APC), will feature the top players from each of the affiliate clubs as well as the top-level players from across the country as recognized by an exclusive panel of local, regional and national evaluators.

In its 5th year, the Adrln Platinum Cup (APC) is an invitation-only set to take the field at DE Turf on June 10th and 11th. More than 1,200 high school athletes comprising 55 top teams from the country’s most prestigious club lacrosse organizations will compete at the highest level on Saturday and Sunday. This event brings a diverse lineup of players that attract the best recruiters and club directors.

Teams for both events are expected from as far away as California and Colorado. 3,000 travelers (athletes, coaches, and family members) from 20 states including New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Massachusetts, Kentucky, and Texas are expected to fill DE Turf’s complex over the weekend.
